I rarely award five stars. I would award six or more to John Solano and his company Solano Services!
All anyone really needs to know is that if they were to look up "integrity" in the dictionary, they would see Solano Services illustrated with the definitions. But seriously, we have hired John and his team numerous times over the past few years and they have always done exactly what they promised in an efficient and uber-friendly manner.
This company has done everything from hauling away old appliances to constructing a rock driveway for us. They are experts at trimming up trees, removing dead trees, landscaping, flood mitigation and pretty much anything else you throw their way. Most recently, John and his team helped prepare our rental property for sale. -- There have been a couple of times that we've called John about projects that weren't his specialty, including a couple of projects that would have paid significantly, and he responded accordingly. How cool is that when a company declines a job that's beyond their scope but gives you a couple of recommendations?!?
Bottom line: John and his crew have the keys to our homes and our complete trust that they will perform quality work. I have John on speed dial, and I suspect that I'm not the only one.

John and his team do great work. He is honest, capable, and reasonably priced. I was especially thrilled when they were able to prune and save two of my palms Instead of cutting them down with the others we lost. Would definitely recommend and use in the future. Not only did we get a great value for the work, but I feel like I got a ton of “free” advice for design and care of our landscaping. Honest, hard workers that were conscious about our property. We love driving up to our beautiful home now!!

Shout out to a local Contract/Lanscaper. If you all have NOT heard of or used John Solano as your landscaper, you need to give him a call. I’d received a few bids for taking down some dead palm trees, always a little high IMO, since the tops were out of them. I had a bunch of dead trees on the outside of my fence line as well. I called John, he promptly set an appointment to come give me a bid, surpassing any others. I agreed and he said he was available the next day. He showed up exactly when he said he would and when I tell you that’s the most efficient and quickest job I’ve EVER seen a crew work, to include clean up, I’m NOT exaggerating. I’d it wasn’t for the chainsaws at 8 am, I wouldn’t have known he was there. In and out in less that 2 hrs. I’m more than impressed and guarantee he will get my return business. Thank you John. She’s a work in progress but I know you’ll get her right. Give him a call you will NOT be dissatisfied.

John Solano Tree Cutting Services. I am one of those - have to see to believe type people! I was skeptical of all the accolades this young man was receiving on his services. People, I tell you if I can recommend ANYONE for this type of service it would be JOHN SOLANO SERVICES! I had him cut a very tall tree & some limbs of my other tree & trim some branches that were hanging close to my electrical line. Extremely reasonable; very friendly (great customer service) and proficient in his ability. His crew was also just as friendly and capable. So, IF you need this type of service contact him! Thank you

Shout out to Solano services! ! I contacted them to mow my lawn and I was stunned what they did. I'm disabled and have a very limited income and there were many things besides mowing that needed to be done. To my surprise they went far above what they were supposed to do clearing out all the heavy branches from the storm and moved several trash cans to the curb that were filled with heavy debris from the storm. They even fixed my broken mailbox!! I'm overwhelmed with appreciation! Please use their services and know that you are supporting an incredible human being! We need more people like John!!

Just want to thank John Solano for the many times he has helped us out in the less than two years we have lived in San Leon. He advised us on how to get rid some horribly invasive weeds on our lots. He dug a hole, mounted and installed our new weather station. He cleaned out, added border, weeded, planted many plants, and added mulch to a large new flowerbed under our stairs. A few weeks ago he dug out a small ditch and constructed a concrete barrier to divert water from our bulkhead. Last week he cut down and dug out two large palm trees we lost in the winter storm. Many thanks to John and his crew. No job is too big or too small. And he is very dependable. He gives you a time is is always there or even early. Thank you John and crew!

Solano Services. John Solano is a one-of-a-kind Neighbor, businessman, all-around good guy. Not only can you depend on him, that’s just the least of it. John cares about his neighbors and goes above and beyond to give a helping hand to anyone that needs it. I have benefited from his generosity, his wisdom, his guidance, and his kind heart numerous times. There is seriously no job too big or too small for John and his crew. I recently needed someone to go and blow off a deck for me because I just wasn’t able to do it myself. John to the rescue, once again. It’s unusual to find people that follow through as consistently as he does, and provide the caring attention to detail he provides. This motto applies to John and his crew: be prepared, show up, on time, follow through! You can count on it!
